Compass Compression Services Ltd. Accelerates its Service Division Growth with the Acquisition of the Operating Assets of A.S.K. Enterprises

Compass Compression Services Ltd. (“Compass Compression”) is pleased to announce it has acquired the operating assets of A.S.K. Enterprises (“A.S.K.”) in Grande Prairie, Alberta.   A.S.K. is a successful owner-managed compression service business that has been servicing the Grande Prairie area for approximately 20 years.
“We are proud to have Anton Kary and the A.S.K. employees join us, as they are an integral part of achieving our strategic objective to increase our service presence in Northern Alberta and British Columbia” said Kirk Dunn, who leads the service division at Compass Compression.  “They have an outstanding work ethic and long history of providing quality technical support in the area, which aligns nicely with our corporate vision and culture.”
Accelerating growth with this acquisition represents another strategic milestone for Compass Compression and demonstrates their commitment to customers.  The Northern Service Division now includes nine service trucks (Six trucks out of Grande Prairie, two from Dawson Creek and one out of Ft. St. John) which can cover more ground with improved customer response time.

Over the last few years, Compass Compression has been focused on expanding its capabilities and reach.  This acquisition,  in addition to an increased horsepower range, the addition of Ariel and Frick to our reputable OEM’s, larger horsepower rental options, and a new fabrication facility has catapulted Compass Compression to the forefront of the North American gas compression market.
